After finishing Interior Design School in Chicago, I apprenticed with a high-end furniture shop, where I spent three years learning woodworking techniques and the art of faux finishing on furniture.

After completing my apprentiship, I opened my own faux finishing business, which I ran successfully for twelve years.

As my passion for woodworking continued to grow, I drew from the skills and experience I had aquired over the years to develop my own distinct style and designs.
